heres what you need to know about the fourth and last day of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (Gate) 2025 .Tomorrow i.e 16th February 2025 is the Last day Of the Exam
This year the Exam will be conducted by IIT Roorkee and the question papers will be designed by them .
Hence, the candidates must follow the guidelines released by them, Tomorrow the Exam will be held in two shift , the first shift will be held from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm & the second shift will be held from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
The Candidates are adviced to reach the Exam centre atleast 1 hour before the mentioned time according to your shift.
The guidelines are also crucial to understand in order to avoid any last minute hassal
Guidelines for Gate ::
- Candidates must carry their documents as mentioned in the official notice . They should be carrying their Admit Card, along with a vaid I'd proof like adhaar card or pan card.
- Candidates must report to the Exam centre atleast 90 minutes before the commencement of the Examination.
- Electronic devices such as calculator , mobile phone , digital watch are prohibited in the examination hall.
- Candidates can carry a pen , pencil and a transparent water Bottle.

Gate question paper type and marking Scheme
Gate 2025 contains 3 question types :-
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs):- MCQs carry 1 marks each in all the papers and sections. These questions are objective in nature and and contain 4 options out of which only 1 is correct . But there will be negative marking for the wrong answers marked.
- Multiple Select Questions (MSQs):- they carry 1 or 2 marks each , here also you are given 4 options out of which 1or more options can be correct. But there is no negative marking for MSQ
- Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions carry 1 or 2 marks each. For NAT questions, the answer is a signed real number, which must be entered by the candidate using the virtual numeric keypad on the monitor (keyboard of the computer will be disabled). No choices will be shown for these types of questions.
